The lady needs to be applauded with a standing ovation for keeping her public life public and private life private! Not just that, she was committed to give this interview to the Vogue magazine, but the behind-the-screen, fact remains that she had just come from a whopping 19-hour shoot in New York, where she was shooting for YRF's (tentatively titled film) New York that stars John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh. Lucky twosome, na!





The magazine's photographer seems to be the less of a photographer and more of a magician. How else would you describe the swift transformation of the actress Katrina to angel Katrina in the snaps! Katrina, on her part tells the readers that, "Actors feel lost without all the attention. I am most comfortable in front of 300 people on a set. Otherwise, I am lost. It's too much quiet, too much alone". There are some of the other gems that Kats has spoken in this endearing interview, but we do not want to play the spoilsport by telling it all. Her fans have often referred to her as Kat, but now actress Katrina Kaif has a new nickname – Sambo – courtesy her “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani” co-star Ranbir Kapoor.

The endorsement deals keep pouring in for this beautiful actress. Katrina Kaif is the chosen one to represent international cosmetic giant Olay’s Natural White cream in India. The company recently launched a white radiance range and signed Katrina as its brand ambassador.




In a mean while, Kat is not hurrying to endorse every product, she is offered. She is now the most popular girl of B-town and undoubtedly the hot favourite for several brands, who are just too keen to sign her. The gorgeous actress says, “Be it a skin, hair or a jewellery product, I am very selective about the brands I endorse. I undertake extensive research on the company and try to ensure that the brand delivers on its promises made to the user of the product.”

Everybody knows about Salman Khan’s passion for cycling. Being a fitness freak, he cycles all the way from his home in Bandra to Film City in Goregaon! However, this time he chose a different ride, for himself and lady love Katrina Kaif.



Apparently, the couple was spotted enjoying a modest auto ride like commoners in the city yesterday. Though there wasn’t much space, Katrina and Salman both managed to squeeze in. While Katrina seemed to enjoy it, she restricted herself to the back seat. Macho man Salman was so exited, he insisted on driving the auto himself! Feeling the need to connect with the aam aadmi, Sallu bhai? Why do it just before your television debut?

At least as far as her market price goes, Katrina is being paid Rs six crores for a two-film deal by production house Studio 18. That's Rs three crore per film.
She is getting over a crore for a item number song in the Akshay Kumar starrer Blue. And now even a Yash Raj flick with John Abraham is reportedly paying her Rs three crores.

All this makes Katreena Kaif one of Bollywood's highest paid actresses alongside Kareena Kapoor.



Kareena, who also reportedly charges about Rs three crores a film, has a two-film deal with Studio18 and another three film deal with Ashtavinayak Films that produced Jab We Met.

The Katrina deal according to reports seems to have rattled Kareena and she's raised her price tag to Rs six crore for her next film. But Ashtavinayak Films that's producing the film has denied any such demand. So maybe no one is willing to sign Kareena as yet for that kind of money.

Katrina Kaif is extremely livid about a rumour that reported that she was manhandled by boyfriend Salman Khan and slapped at a public coffee shop in Mumbai.

And Katrina is so upset at the false and baseless rumors making the rounds that Katrina has finally decided to clarify.



Says Katrina" Enough is enough, I have never talked about my personal life and don't intend to, and because I have always believed that what is personal is personal. But this is too much. The story that has appeared is utter rubbish and fabricated. I suspect that it's been spread by vested interest with ulterior motives. I would like to repeat that nothing of this sort has happened. Normally I don't like to clarify but sometimes one has to take a stand and this is one of one of those times.

According to sources close to her it is for the first time Katrina Kaif has seriously clarified.

She has always believed in being dignified and keeping her personal life in the private domain. But she seems quite upset when Salman is painted in a bad light and the fact is upsetting her more, and therefore she felt that she had to take a stand and put a foot on the rumour floating around.

Incidentally, Katrina on the professional front is on a career high with a 100 percent record last year. Her films ‘Namastey London’, ‘Apne’, ‘Partner’ and ‘Welcome’ were super duper hits. Even her forthcoming film ‘Race’ looks very promising and is touted in the industry circle as a potential blockbuster at the box office.

Says Katrina "I am quite pleased with the way my career has shaped up. Even ‘Race’ looks extremely slick and has got an international look. It was so special shooting for ‘Race’. I am just looking forward to it."

Not withstanding the baseless controversies surrounding her personal life, Katrina is quite upbeat with her forthcoming films like ‘Race’, ‘Singh Is Kingg’, ‘Main Yuvraj’, two films with Yashraj Films and more.
