Rounding the a twist on a windy country byway, I was welcomed by the natural tail lamps of a 2010 Mazdaspeed3, fitting as the 2011 Volvo C30 R Design that I was piloting portions its Ford C1 platform with the Mazda3. Weeks prior, on a comparative road, the Mazdaspeed had startled the poo out of me with its turbo lag and snap torque cow. My present ride was down about 50 pull from the Mazda, but felt about as surefooted with additional predictable capacity conveyance. In a prototypal instance of "less is more," I was ready to hang decently near the Mazda's rear guard as we snaked through the field, smiling the considerable distance.
